Greetings of peace and joy!
I am Gener Miralles, a post-secondary student in the Sisters of Mary Boystown – Adlas Campus. In behalf of all the students here in Boystown, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to you our dear sisters and brothers in Christ, for lending us an untiring effort in the recently celebrated 25th Foundation Day last August 15.
We are indeed very grateful to you, our dear ‘’Kuya’s and Ate’s’’, for you had shared a great part not only in the success of the event, but most especially in the lives of each one of us here inside the campus. We just couldn’t imagine how you were able to stand long enough, sacrificing a lot of things, just to ensure a smile of gaiety in our lips.
In a special way, we would like to thank those batches who had sent gifts and prizes for the students:
· 1st Batch for the assorted candies and five thousand worth of cash
· 2nd Batch for the wristbands
· 3rd Batch for the 12, 800 worth of cash
· 3rd Batch(Cebu) for the basketballs
· 4th Batch for the automated Library Management System (LMS) and two computer desktops
· 5th Batch for the ice creams
· 6th Batch headed by Ms. Mina Salud for the assistance in the acquisition of Autodesk softwares
· 11th Batch for the assorted candies
· 19th Batch for the assorted candies and piggy bank with almost two thousand worth of cash
· 2nd & 4th Batch for the students individual family picture
And to other batches who also shared their gifts to us but were not mentioned above for they might have been mixed up with the other gifts, TO ALL OF YOU THANK YOU!
All of those gifts really deserve great appreciation, but we students are not really after the satisfaction of material possessions. What we longed for is your presence which could never be replaced by any luxurious things. Being with you is already a great thing for us. Thanks for the time and attention you’ve offered and demonstrated as gesture of gratitude to our Alma Mater and to our dear founder, Fr. Al.
We are overwhelmed with joy for having great and special people like you. We promise that we would remember you as our inspiration as we go through our lives.
May you always be blessed to continue helping each other and to spread the virtues taught by our patroness, the Virgin of the Poor. We look forward to seeing you again in the future activities of the Alumni and the Sisters of Mary. Your love and concern mean a lot to us.
Thank you and may the good Lord guide us always.
